A Happy Ending

we want life to

have a happy ending.

we learn the hard way.

you don’t know what’s going

to happen next in life.

all we have is this moment

without knowing

what’s going to happen

next.

and, what is life without people?

I know it’s lonely

for I learned

I wasn’t an island…

you surely can’t control people

in what they think and do.

you just never know what

to expect next.

So, if your life has

gone down the drain,

listen to the raindrops

and

when that is over

look at the

bright blue skies.

then, lean down

and give

your pet

a hug.

And, if you currently

don’t have a

cat or dog,

go to the animal

shelter and

save a life.

you will never

regret it.

and, unlike

humans,

they will always

love you

and never

break your

heart,

abandon you

or

turn their

backs on you

because you

don’t own

a big house,

drive a fancy car,

work in a certain job,

have so much money,

are good looking or

for any other reason.

they just love you

for you and want to

be

by your side

for its own sake.

all you have to do

is feed them,

play with them

and love them.

be assured that

all through ones life,

a pet’s love

is

the only

‘guarantee’

he will ever

have besides

death and taxes.

and, if you want

to keep your

‘sanity’

all else

must be

released

and let go

of.

nevertheless,

you don’t

have to be

a wise man

to

figure out…

you better

get to the

business of

living

real quick

because

we only

get one

chance

at

it.

therefore,

make

sure

you

live

the

‘best’

life

you

know

how.
