Searching for something

Searching for something

hasn’t got a name

seeking hidden

needles

in tall

stacks

grasping

nothing

but

delirious

pain

nefarious

dealings

end

sprouting

joker cards

all the same

blessed creatures

once they came

in single fields

leaping

dark robots

roaming

creeping

talk about

things

gone

and

beautiful

fair

echoes

wear it well

but

grief is mine

nor

sorrow yours

dinner time

backyard woods

trees standing

must be looked

upon

far from east

we

mourn our own

humor

elevating honors

for

nature

remembers

what it wants

has no desires

cherishes neither

mad listlessness

nor its own

endeavors in

silence

we

pray until

green leavened

questionings

vanish and

haunt us

resting

supine on a stack

of phantom

recollections

that the cat

just

let out of the

bag
